Before handing over originals
Document delivery depends on accurate handover as well as transit speed. Tell the manager the departure city, recipient address, document type and required arrival date. Confirm acceptance of special originals separately: do not dispatch passports, securities or other special documents without agreement. This guide covers delivery arrangements, not the legal validity of documents.
Choose timing for the actual task
The UAE-to-Russia route offers express delivery in 1–2 days. The Russia-to-UAE route lists urgent and express options; confirm availability for your date. Allow for collection, preparation and office handover. Tell the manager if the recipient only accepts mail on weekdays or the building uses an access-control process.
Packing checklist
- Check the set and number of enclosures before packing.
- Use a sturdy folder or envelope to reduce bending.
- Add external moisture protection and agree how the package should be sealed.
- Provide both recipient details and an accurate description of the contents.
Details that make delivery easier
Provide the recipient’s full name, company where relevant, precise address, phone number and reception hours. If an assistant or receptionist will accept the documents, agree this in advance. When sending from a Russian region, allow separate time for the domestic journey to Moscow. Handover to a domestic courier does not mark the start of international transit.
After dispatch
Keep the waybill and tracking number. For important document sets, retain copies where appropriate. Shipping does not replace notarisation, translation or other procedures the recipient may require; those requirements must be checked separately. State clearly that the shipment contains documents and request agreement on the date and method of handover to the intended recipient.
