Start with the shipment details
To send a parcel from Dubai to Moscow with Silk Sky Delivery, provide the contents, approximate weight and pickup address first. You can arrange courier collection instead of finding a flight or visiting the warehouse yourself. If a purchase is still with the seller, include their address and collection hours. Acceptance of a particular product is checked before the parcel is received.
Choose the right delivery option
The UAE-to-Russia service lists express delivery in 1–2 days, standard air delivery in 5–7 business days and sea freight in 40–60 days. For a typical small parcel, compare express and standard air first. Discuss sea freight for heavy or bulky shipments. Ask whether the quote includes collection and handover in Moscow: onward delivery to another region is a separate stage.
What to include in your quote request
- Product names and quantities: “two pairs of shoes” is clearer than “personal items”.
- Approximate weight, package dimensions and number of packages.
- Pickup address in the UAE and collection or delivery preference in Russia.
- Required arrival date and any packing or insurance needs.
What happens at the warehouse
After agreement, a courier collects the parcel or you deliver it to the warehouse. The packaging is checked and the shipment weighed. Your initial estimate may differ from the measured weight, so request the final weight and price before dispatch. Customs clearance is included under the service terms; collection, extra packaging and other additional services are agreed separately.
Receiving your parcel
Collect in Moscow or arrange address delivery. Keep the waybill and use the supplied tracking number. Avoid incomplete descriptions and unannounced warehouse deliveries, which make identification harder. If purchases from several sellers become ready on different days, discuss consolidation before scheduling dispatch. Prepare the contents, weight and both addresses to obtain a useful quote.
