Your shipment can start outside Moscow
Cargo can be sent to Dubai from another Russian city. In the Silk Sky Delivery route, the Moscow warehouse receives and prepares shipments for international transport. Cargo reaches it through a domestic delivery service or an agreed collection arrangement. Treat domestic transport to Moscow and international delivery to the UAE as two separate stages.
Two ways to hand over the cargo
- Ask the manager to arrange pickup, providing the city, package count and cargo details.
- Send the cargo to the agreed Moscow warehouse address using a domestic carrier. Obtain recipient and labelling instructions before booking.
Understand the delivery timeline
Do not count the international transit period from the day a local courier collects the box. Confirm arrival in Moscow, preparation time and the next available departure. The Russia-to-UAE page lists urgent delivery within 24 hours, express in 2–3 days and standard in 5–7 business days. The manager confirms the specific option and when its timing starts. If arrival must meet a deadline, state that deadline before arranging collection.
At the Moscow warehouse
The team receives the cargo, confirms actual weight and checks packaging. Additional protection is agreed before dispatch. Electronics or unusual packages may require photographs and dimensions. Ask for a quote showing domestic transport to Moscow, international shipping and UAE delivery so the total is clear. Customs clearance is included under the agreed international delivery terms.
Prepare the recipient details
Provide a name, reachable phone number and precise address in Dubai or another emirate. The sender does not need to attend the warehouse, but clear handover instructions are essential. For example, label three boxes from Kazan as 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 and send the domestic waybill number to the manager. This helps confirm that everything has arrived before international dispatch.
